Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Help Have I no right's , Im the oldest

My dad was not married and is G/F was my age,He had been married 3 times and children from each. I am the oldest , a half brother fro the second and a sister and brother almost the age of my kids from the third.Because I live off from them and did not meet my dad till I was 13 they seems to think I have no rights in his estate. I would not have cared if they had let me tell him goodbye , but I didn't find out till almost 12 hourse later that he was dead.I would have given them my share of what ever he did or didn't have if I could have just tolds him bye. Last year on one of our rare private visits he began to tell me all his assets and I was suproised but like I ask him Dsddy why are you telling me this he said I would have to fught for my part and I tol dhim that was sad and stupid.I don;t think he has a will or trust or anything. They are going through everything as we speal I am sure. I even had to mfight with the news paper and show then my birth certififcarte, But that did make me seel bette. So do I have any right and can they be made to stop carring off hiis guns and knives and stuff. Daddy had 5 pieces of property , but according tie regersty 3are in hre name. he gave me alist ofd stuff and if I don;t do somehting quit

Yes, you certainly have rights; you are a beneficiary of your father's estate; you should protect yourself; consult a local attorney if possible
