If my stepmother had 2 bank accounts that were her name POD my name do I have to put them in with the estate account?

The money in the accounts would not be included in the estate account and would be immediately payable to whomever was listed as the beneficiary on the POD. However, the amounts would be included in the total estate value for tax considerations.
