Legal Question in Workers Comp in Tennessee

Compensation

My daughter hurt her knee at work and had to have surgery. She has an impairment rating or 3% whole body and 7% knee. What is a fair compensation settlement for her? What happens now that the doctor has told her what her impairment rating is and is there anywhere we can call to find out anything. Thanks.

Re: Compensation

Fair compensation is measured by the law as the "disabilty" that one has after suffering an impairment from an injury. In this case, that is based upon the injury itself, the benefit rate, the impairment rating and the effect it has on her ability to do her job now. Usually retaining an attorney that practices within the workers' compesnation field is the best way to maximize the benefits allowed under the law. ...
