Legal Question in Workers Comp in Tennessee

What are my rights with having workers compensation?

I fell at my place of employment on January 4, 2002.

I have been to the doctor and physical therapy alot here in the last month. I injured my left knee. My place of employment is doing me really wrong. They are putting me back to regular--name removed--after i have been on modified duty for 3 weeks now, and after my doctor told them to keep me on modified duty. My question is : I just found out that I have to have surgery. If i quit my job because of the way they are doing me, will they still pay for me to have surgery and allof my medical bills from workers compensation?

Re: What are my rights with having workers compensation?

Worker's comp will cover you if you quit work but I would not advise you to quit. There are a number of factors that go into computing how much you are entitled to from worker's compensation and if you quit work, it could affect the amount of worker's comp you will get. I would be happy to talk with you about this matter in more detail....Bill Poland toll free 1 888 223 5605
