Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

im have taking a paternity test;however the custodial parent didnt not show with the two children. i recieved a notice to appear in court. i do believe one of the two children may be mine. will i be accounted for any order that may have been made? we they order another paternity test because the custodial parent didnt appear to get the children tested and if one of the children is mine can i fight for custody?

If the court ordered a paternity test and the custodial parent failed to appear at the scheduled testing site with the children, she may be in violation of the court's order and could be held in contempt of court. If it turns out after conducting the paternity test, that you are indeed the father of the child(ren), then you would have the right to petition the court for custody.
