Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Am I in trouble

I entered U.S. as a F1 student and about an year after I got married to a American citizen and lived together for about an year. However I fell out of status afer some time;to make matters worse the marriage did not workout. What should my next step be? Please advice.

Note. I am still a student in my campus

How have you been out of status? If it's not too long, then you can get reinstated to F-1. It's not easy but it can be done if you can prove your extenuating circumstances.
