Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Texas

My Brother was arrested on vehicular manslaughter?

We his family, were not able to attend his hearing, and the jury at first was undecided and now they have all decided due to the 4 undecided not wanting to stay ina hotel, that he is guilty. I and my family would like to appeal this for we feel our Brother did not have a fair trial. He was found guilty of something that was not preconcieved. We know our brother would never want to hurt anyone on purpose and during his trial he had no-one there to support him, we were all either out of state or could not make it for not enough money was available to us. What should we do? I know we want to appeal but how do we go about doing so?

Re: My Brother was arrested on vehicular manslaughter?

YOU do not appeal - it is not your case to appeal. Speak with the lawyer who handled the case, or retain another lawyer for him, to look at actual legal reasons for an appeal (rather than juror/hotel stories).
