Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
Divorce/ Bankruptcy
I am considering divorce and bankruptcy. My husband, who is not working will consider divorce but not bankruptcy. We are in joint debt 35K+. Would it be adviseable for me to divorce first or bankruptcy first?

You can do it in either order, but the simplest way (usually) is to divorce first, then bankruptcy second.
