Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas

I lent $11,000 to someone so they could by a car. I have a notarized installment loan and a notarized security agreement using the car to secure the loan. This person has filed chapter 7 bankruptcy and has never paid a dime on the loan. Can I "reposses" the car?

Ultimately yes. However, you will need to file a proof of claim and may have to file a motion to lift stay. You should consult an attorney to guide you through this process.
