Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas

Refund Check Received From Trustee

A couple of years ago, my Grandmother filed Bankruptcy. She is now living in a Nursing Facility. I have Durable Power of Attorney over her. I have been making pymts. to the Trustee(Chapter 13) for her. After her being admitted into the Nursing Facility I became aware that she was one month behind on her pymt. I mailed 2 pymts. in order to become current. The 2 pymts. that I mailed were $4 short of the amount due,(this shortage was accidental). The next month I mailed the regular pymt. + $4. Recently, my Grandmother recv'd a refund chk. from the Trustee for the same amt. as her mthly. pymt. Can someone tell me if this refund means that she will lose the assests listed when she filed? There was no correspondence attached with the check.

The Bankruptcy Trustees are very accessible by phone. You could call him or her and find out exactly why the check was issued.
