Are ein via Credit Cards Legal or Illegal?
I have a typing business - Typing Etc. - and I was told that I can save money on buying items for my business if I have a Credit Card via my EIN, rather than my Social Security Number. But then I was also told that it is illegal to obtain a Credit Card using your EIN instead of your Social Security Number.

Having an EIN on your credit card won't save you money on the purchase of business supplies.
If you are a sole proprietorship, then hiding behind the EIN is improper. If your business is a corporation or LLC, then the EIN is the only taxpayer identification.
