grounds for a lawsuit
I was recently terminated from my position after only 1 1/2 months of employment. When I started at this company there were several people who did not want me there and I was told as much by several other employees on the team. Once I arrived, these two individuals did everything they could to make me look bad and keep conflict going. Ultimately, I was terminated because they stated that I was to ''gruff'' and was ruining their reputation. I want to know if I have any legal grounds to sue or should I proceed to sign the severance agreement - which they have agreed to pay me until the end of the month?
Re: grounds for a lawsuit
Unless you can prove what they said was false, you would have no legal action. Good Luck.
