Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Hello!

I have a questions that I can't find the answer to! I have been making jewelry out of guitar picks and selling them at local craft fairs. I would love to take it a step further and sell them at boutiques and, later, larger chain stores. I purchase the guitar picks wholesale and they have the manufacturer's name on the back. Am I going to run into any licensing issues since I am puchasing them wholesale to sell? If so, can you give me any information about fixing any of those issues?

Thank you!

Rebecca

Any attorney will say more information is needed to answer your question. Who are you buying at wholesale from? If you are buying directly from the manufacturer, there are very few issues to work out. If not, then further consent from the manufacturer may be needed. Or, you can always look into buying generic guitar picks that have no brand or name on them. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
