Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
I was married to someone from 8/88 til his death in 12/04.....I remarried in 08 for about a year and then i divorced him. My first husband was in the Navy for 4 years and then he worked for Temple INland for 14 years. Am I entitled to his retirement or 401k plan that he had with the Navy or Temple Inland??....I received checks from 07 til march 08 from the VA for about $100 per month, but that stopped after I remarried in 08.

You are entitled to whatever your divorce decree says you're entitled to. You need to read it. What does it say about awarding retriement benefits?
