What can be done about my money?
A friend and I went into a deal to purchase a trailer home, but I paid all cost with my money. We then had second thoughts about it and cancelled the purchase but since reciept were made out to both our names the isseued check also had to be made out to both of us. The problem is that now I can't reach this person so that I can cash my check and redeposit my money. I have my bank recipts to prove that the money was only mine, he appeared nowhere on my account. What should I do or what can I do?

You need your friend's signature on the check so you can deposit it. You can pay for a little time with an attorney and get a more detailed explanation, which may be of assistance in clarifying the issues involved.
