Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

ProBono Lawyers for Workers Rights

I started working at this job 5/22/07. Two weeks later after terrible conditions and being the only female surrounded by men who only want to talk about my sex life and make passes at me, the manager decided he had a problem with the form of my face and thoutht ''we should go our seperate ways''. They have yet to pay me. I've been hung up on multiple times and the four instances I did get through they have made excusses why I haven't been paid and said that corporate has fixed the situation.

The Texas Workforce Commission will handle your back pay. File a complaint with the EEOC for sex discrimination.

I am not 100% positive about this, but I believe Texas wage law says that you must be paid within 30 days or else the employer could end up owing you 3 times the amount of the earnings that are due to you. You would probably have to pursue this case on your own.
