Re: Proprietary information and Personnel Placement Statutes

There are no statutes that define what is or is not proprietary information. Case law has identified some material, such as customer lists, rates, and contact information. Anything that the company treats as confidential information, and takes steps to avoid it being widely known, may be considered as confidential and a trade secret; it is a fact question that's determined by the courts.
