Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Trying to keep this short. Day 1 I went and looked at a new car it was late and they could not get my pay off amount for the old car or what my trade was worth. Said for me to take the car home to try out. Day 2 came back and they got the information for both, I said I did not like the amount of trade I could do better elsewhere and would rather take it to said place. They said they would re-evaluate it to come back again. Day 3 came back with "good news" they got more for my trade for me. I said again I did not like the number it was not enough so that never mind I did not want to go through with the deal. Was then informed that it was too late my car had been sold the night before that is how they got the "good deal" out of it. So I was stunned, sat there realized I had no car I had to sign the paperwork to get the new car. (I must have one to get to work etc.) I asked for my car back was told it was sold seriously and was not even on the lot anymore had already been shipped out! I grudgingly did sign the paperwork for this new car. The car is nice, but I am angry about the whole thing. I have demanded the proof that they forced me into it by selling my car the day before my paperwork was signed for the new. They refuse to give me the paperwork. In addition, they will not help me saying that is how it is. Is there anything that can be done?

Send these guys a deceptive trade practices demand letter. You have to give them 60 days to make things right, and you have to tell them exactly HOW you want them to make things right ("I demand that you rescind the sale of the new car and return my old car to me").

And in 60 days, if they haven't complied, you sue them for treble damages.
