Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Unethical work practice

My current employer recently promoted an individual that for two years has falsified her timesheet. Her and another lady in the group cover for each other while they are not at work. Both ladies work less then 40hrs a week and report to work a full shift. Since I joined the group they refuse to communicate important information. I took on most of the work load for the past ten months. Since I complained to my boss and HR they seem to somehow know what I have said. Just recently I was informed that one of the ladies is dating a manager; which we work close with. In fact the two live together so he mentors her on what to say and do. He also helped the other lady in our department to get a promotion to Team Leader. This was all to insure that both ladies could continue operating under the same unethical work behavior. Faithfully these two ladies for about 2 to 3 wks a month and do not report the time off. They are currently working to eliminate me; to where I will either quit or get laid off. I keep all email and document all days off. I need help. Do I have a case if I get laid off?

Re: Unethical work practice

Your title says it all. unethical is not illegal. If the employer wishes to tolerate this conduct, there is no legal protection for you.
