Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

Too Big to Play Football???

I signed my son up to play football with the local youth football organization. I was told there were no weight restrictions as long as the child plays no skilled positions. He is 12 years old and had never gotten to play before because of his size. He is about 5'8'' tall and weighs 275. I was called and told when the first practice would be held. I carried my son to the practice and was told that he would not be able to play because the board had changed their minds and decided not to lift the weight restrictions. This is totally unfair. The board is comprised of various parents and coaches from around the league. Is this discrimination and what should I do about it?

They can do this, just as they can set an age restriction.
