Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

This guy messaged me and he was basically stalking me and scaring me, he described what I looked like, He told me my full name, my school, city and everything.. And he kept saying two guys gave the info to him and I didn't know anything about them, and he started flirting with me and everything and i was really scared and then later I found out a girl who im not friends with anymore gave him the information and told him to mess with me, what can I do about it? can I press charges?

If he messages you again, message him back and tell him that you find his contacts to be harassing and that you want nothing to do with him. Tell him that you are blocking him and that you are reporting him to the police. Then, block him. If you hear from him again, report him to the police for harassment. Be sure to keep a copy of all contacts he has made with you and do not instigate anything with him.
