Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

Protective type order for business partner

Business partner is a severe violent alcholic and partners are in the position to ask him to leave the business until sober. Actions are such that this person could and most likely will become violent when told to leave. Is there some sort of protective or restraining order we can get to keep him from the business? Aside from changing the locks?

Re: Protective type order for business partner

Hello there,

This is a very unique situation.

I handled a case similar to this two years ago and it was a civil case and involved dissolving the partnership.

You need an attorney that knows what they are doing with partnerships.

An injunction can be placed on him, but you will have to post a bond and show up in court to present your case to a judge to keep him out.

If he does not comply with the court order you can have him arrested and held in contempt of court.

If you need any further advice feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
