Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Texas

Harrased and Verbally Battered by Employer

A direct supervisor continually yelled and continued to intimidate me until I was a nervous wreck. I went to Personel when his boss failed to stop him. I was assured I deserved a safe and comfortable place to work, but I was never comfortable until I felt I was forced out. Many other associates at the company stated they had problems with the same supervisor, including the personel director. Could I be entitled to some compensation for stress related to my ultimate resignation while I'm looking for other work? I'm not sure what law this would fall under.

Re: Harrased and Verbally Battered by Employer

You may complain to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission about your 'hostile work environment' as a first step. If they support your claim it is most helpful in further proceedings.
