Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

automoblie binding bailment agreemnt

My husband without my consent went and signed for a new SUV and traded in our old SUV. They told him that they had to have my signature to seal the deal and I said no. So, they let him bring the truck home over the weekend and I brought the truck back to the dealership the Monday morning to decline the deal and get our SUV back and they stated that he had signed a bailment binding agreement. Basically saying that he signed over our SUV as a trade-in and that we could either purchase the new SUV or walk away from the deal but they kept out truck.

On our SUV we both signed for it so I want to know is that agreement really binding w/o my signature? They also stated that they only needed one signature. Also, I thought that we had 72 hours to change our mind and decline the purchase? I feel as though they suckered my husband into the purchase and I want some answres.

Re: automoblie binding bailment agreemnt

Only one signature is required. Once it's signed it's a done deal. You don't have time to change your mind.
