Used Car Repossesion

I want to know if this company have he right to repo my vehichle because i was due on sept. 23rd and was going to pay oct. 5 there money and talk to you like you a dead beat and charge me 1000.00 to get my car back? Is that wrong? I never missed a payment with this company, I explained to him i don't have 1000.00 to give him i have my payment i was bringing him today he keep brushing me off telling me to call him back and i told him my next pay not due until 10/23 he said i don't have time to talk to you and that's what i need for you to get your car back. Please somebody help me I need Justice cause I know this is not fair. Please Help Me.

They could legitimately repossess the car on the 24th, if payment was due on the 23rd. It's not fully yours until you pay for it.

Once it's repo'd, you're responsible for the repo costs, storage, plus what's owed. Some notes allow them to demand the entire balance on top of costs and storage.

It may not be fair, but it's legal.
