Citizens Arrest
I took my vehicle to a small Business to have a car alarm installed. In the process of attempting to install the alarm, not only was the incorrect type of alarm installed, the employee also damaged my vehicle. The electronic locks will not function properly as a result.
The owner has totally avoided contact/communication, and has yet to refund the cost of the alarm (which was not installed)of approx. $200.00. Also, for several weeks the owner has ''promised'' to order the parts to fix my car and has not done so. Would I be able to contact the Police Dept. and process a ''Citizens Arrest'' against this owner?
Re: Citizens Arrest
It certainly is frustrating when a service provider does less than promised, isn't it? Although you may want to see this business owner behind bars, this sounds more like a civil matter that might be resolved through Small Claims Court, the Texas Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau, or other means. Let me know if you'd like me to help.
