Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
misinformed
my daughter recently became ill due to an allergy to a candy that was in her lunch. she is highly allegic to strawberries and the candy did not state it was made with any strawberry we found this out only after contacting the manufacturer. should that be something they label.

No question about that - unless the strawberries were such a minute part of the candy that it's not required. If your daughter had gone into anaphylactic shock and suffered serious consequences to her health, you would have a great case. Cases like this depend on the dollar value of the damages suffered and not so much on what could have been. You should report this matter to the Texas Dept of Agriculture and the US Dept. of Agriculture who can refer you to the proper departments for your complaint. Without more facts, I cannot judge what the value of your damages might be.
