Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I agreed to pay a credit card debt each month until paid in full. I've paying this for a lmost a year now. The other day I received a letter form a JP stating that a court date has been set for an agreed judgement. I don't understand how they can do this after they have been taking money directly out of my account for this period of time. Aren't they acting in bad faith?

No bad faith as the law does not cover that act...but it could be your defense in the JP court...ie that there is an agreement...and depending on the amount, call us to discuss the fee to defend and counterclaim against credit card.....
