I bought a truck in Texas, and had it reposessed in Texas. I have since moved to Alabama, and now the collection agency is continuing to try and collect. Which state laws apply, Texas or Alabama, for what the collection agency can do (like garnishing wages)?

I believe Alabama law would prevail. You could argue that Texas law should be applicable, but the judgment will be an Alabama judgment.
