Is there any legal action you can take if a Creditor hassles you over the phone, demands money, threatens to sue me, and creates an unprofessional argument?

Yes; depending on what exactly was said, it could be a violation of the Texas Debt Collection Practices Act. If it was a thirdy party collector, it could be a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
