Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Harrassing Chrysler Corporation

I have been receiving calls from Chrysler 2 days after my due date on my truck payment. I can not pay it currently do to Military Pay Problems. The Military has housed me and my family and will be fixing my pay soon. Until then I am not able to pay my truck payment until a week and half after the due date. My problem is I tell them this and they keep calling me 4 to 6 times a day harrassing me about my truck payment. Is there a law against these and what can I say to them to get the harrassing phone calls to stop after I give them a resolution.

First off, don't use the phone. Write to them, certified mail, return receipt requested, explaining the situation and telling them not to call.

Then call Marvin Zindler (send e-mail to his attention at Channel 13) telling him that Chrysler Credit is harassing the military over payments. I guarantee he'll be on them like a duck on a Junebug.
