Judgement awarded

A judgement was awarded to a creditor and my question is - can they take my income tax refund when it is directly deposited in my bank? Can they take it if it is mailed directly to me.

They can garnishee your bank account, so your tax refund is vulnerable while it is in your bank account. They cannot garnishee the IRS.
