Judgement 2004
I recieved a credit card lawsuit in 04. I agreed to make payments.I made 5(all I could afford). A jdgmt. popped up on credit report last month (07)and I am getting calls from a debt buyer. Advice?

You need to look at the proof of history of payments and any agreements that you had with the original creditor. If those documents suggest that the debt is settled, then there is a good reason to repel this caller. Usually one angry lawyer letter with the documents will do the job.
