How long does a repossesed boat stay on a credit report
I was not bringing in my usual income after 9/11 and was not able to keep up my payments on a boat loan. The boat was repossesed in 2002 and was auctioned for a fraction of the loan and I was asked to pay the difference but refused the loan has been resold to collections several times the most recent was in Jan. of 2005. I would like to know how long it will remain on my credit report.

The repo will stay on your credit report for 7 years.
