Do I have to pay a third party who bought a charged off credit card debt?

I have not been served the actual law suite: however, I have been receiving mail from debt companies and lawyers regarding a law suite.

yes..but u probablyhave a defense to their claim...so wait until sued...and be sure to dispute the claim in writing..
