Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
If I got a payday loan a year ago and the check was returned due to insufficient funds. And I agree to pay what I can at the time and they say it has to be a certain amount can they do that? Dont they have to take whatever I can give?

You have breached the contract with them. HOWEVER, you don't need to let them dictate the payback. STOP TALKING TO THESE PEOPLE. Don't talk to them on the phone, ever. Send them money when you can, and relax. DON'T TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE. Hang up on them. Tell them that you will communicate with them only in writing.

You need to write them to cease and desist all comunication except in writing..which should stop harrassment..and as noted..don't let them tell you what to do...
