In the state of texas can credit card companies bring a judgment against your bank checking account ?

After a creditor takes a judgment against you, he CAN garnish your bank account.

Your best bet is:

1. Don't stay at any one bank very long (change banks every eight months or so).

2. Don't keep all of your money in one bank.
