Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My 16 yr old daughter was waiting in line at a walmart self checkout behind a 10yr old so she could check out. when getting to the checkout she noticed there was money lft in the dipenser and gave it to her friend that was with her to hold until finishing to take to the customer service. while checking out she was aproached by an older women asking if she had taken her money, my daughter replied no she did not. while finishing the women came back once again yelling and screaming calling her a liar and a theife and demanding her money back. My daughter at this point was scared and shacken up over what she had don so she took the money from her friend and just gave it to her due to being scared and embarrased. As she tried to hurry up and leave at this point, the women continued to follow her to the door yelling and screaming profanities and and still calling her a liar and a theife stating she was calling the police. Trying to hurry she was stopped by the store asst. manager and told she had to wait there untill the police arrived. She asked to leave because of how this women was treating her and was scared she was refused the right to leave. She was than taken into a security room with the manager and her friend along with the same women who was still coninuing to yell at her. Once the police arived she was told she was being given a ticket for theft and that women women yelling at her had the right to do so. When my wife and myself arrived we found her in this room being scolded by the policemen. I asked why she was in the room being held by wal mart and for theft? I was told to leave the room by the officers. I told them I would not without my daughter. My daughter had walked out at this point with my wife due to the fact she was totally terrified and distraught. They explained again outside the room that she was receiving a ticket for theft and also had to sign a paper stating that she would not return to the wal mart property for one year. At this point we had left.

I am wanting to retain an attorney in this matter
