Absconding from probation
A friend is on a 4 yr probation and he
wants to leave the country for
business in the secret, before the
probation period is terminated. Is this
action even possible, considering
airport security, possible gov't
interaction, etc? What may happen
to him?

He could get caught, jailed until the outcome of the Motion to Revoke Probation, and then jailed for the duration of the original sentence.
