Acused of stealing
I was shopping in a department store, when i left about 4 blocks away from the store 2 police cars stop me and then said that i steal something from the store, they heck everything i had and asked for the receipts of all i had, when thay found a towel i have bought several days ago they asked for the receipt i told them i had bought several days ago and i did not have the receipt, they write me a ticket for 700 dollars and a date to apear and give them the receip for the towel, the towel they confiscated.'
What can i do and what are my rights?
