Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Arrested for criminal tresspassing charge

charges were criminal tresspassing, because I refused to leave an area where my 18 yr old grand-daughter was going to be questioned for shop lifting. I paniced and got out of line by forcing my way in and refused to leave. During this process I was man pushed against a wall by a store security man. A fowl word (F__k) was used by this man in front of me and my grand-daughter that was an insult to me of no respect to an elder and a young Christian women. She was arrested for shop lifting two $40. rings. Before bond was paid, we had spent a night in jail. It was sure an experience. Do I have a case, what is your suggestion of what should I do. Do I have a case to sue the store and security officer

I suggest hiring an attorney for the criminal charge. While legally, you might have comitted a criminal trespass. I can see you having a valid reason for staying that could result in a dismissal or an acquittal of charges. Don't know if you have a case aginst store or officer since I do not practice civil law.
