Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

my brother is in some serious trouble and i just need to know what would be best for him or if any wiggle room possible.. he is currently on probation and has been since he was released around august i believe he had an ankle monitor as a part of his probation with curfew and such the previous charges which led to the probation were agg kidnapping and agg robbery he recently was incarcerated about two days ago due to evading arrest but he also has mental health issues and was prescribed Xanax by a doctor who isn't even allowed to write scripts the evading was a reaction of paranoia due to the medication he hallucinated thinking the cops were going to kill him. he is incarcerated because of the warrant from that evading charge and his judge is trying to put in a motion to revoke he has no bond currently until he gets transferred but even then what happens can he plead insanity and be directed to a mental facility please help!
