Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was given a choice of going to trial or taking probation.I was badly advised and took going to trial.I was later told that I should have taken probation.Can I change my mind after a trial date was set today to taking probation instead?

Usually. Talk with your lawyer about accepting probation. Most courts / prosecutors will agree to it as it saves court time for other cases.
