Every jurisdiction functions at a different rate; and it will also depend upon whether it is a misdemeanor or felony.

Based on what you have written, it depends upon where you are being charged with a misdemeanor or felony. The difference is typically based on the amount that you allegedly had in your possession. Additionally, the sooner you get a defense law firm involved, the sooner the case may be resolved.
