Credit for Time Serve
I have a friend who has been in the county jail for 30 days. He tells me that with good time that is 60 days. It looks like my friend will be taking a state jail sentence on his case (burglary case). How much time credit will he get towards his state jail sentence? 30 or 60 days? Thanks!
Re: Credit for Time Serve
Hello there,
The time credit for State Jail felonies is day for day.
Unfortunately, this is the way it works with State Jail offenses. There is no good time credit.
If my office can be of any assistance feel free to contact us.
