The short answer is sometimes. It depends on the crime, the outcome and the jurisdiction. There are very specific laws on expunction, however, I have had cases expunged which did not fit the guidelines, but the prosecutor did not object, so the court ordered the expunction, which destroys all records of the arrest. If the case is in the Dallas metroplex, the down payment for an exupunction is $500, plus filing fees and costs. Please feel free to contact me if you wish to explore this option. TCL
