false reports
What constitutes a false report? If I filled out a report for lets say 343 ccp does that make me a person doing something? By the way I'm running to the top so I can fall down in front of you!

Thanks for your question. What makes a false report is the assertion of facts as true that you know to be false, that the report is based upon. Penal Code section 148.5 provides that the filing of a false police report is a misdemeanor. Penal Code section 118 also provides that perjury is punishable as a felony, if appropriate.
