Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I have a friend who was indited on a burglary charge because he fits the description on a picture. He had 4 court apperances so far and he has a court apointed attorney? Why is the bond not getting redused?

Perhaps because your friend who has prior convictions? Perhaps the bond is set at the standard level. Perhaps there are some issues about flight, etc. "Fitting the description on a picture" isn't enough - he must have been identified in some way - a witness, prints, hocking the stolen goods, confessing to others, etc.
