Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was at a friends house in Denton County, Tx. when swat came in. They found some drugs in a kitchen drawer. Even though they found no drugs on my person or in my purse I was arrested along with my friend. He told the cops anything they found belonged to him he took full responsibility and they still arrested me and charged me with the same charges as him. Can I get these charges dropped?? My friend is willing to sign an affidavit once again claiming all responsibility. There were also 2 other people there and they took us all in and charged us for the drugs found in the kitchen drawer even though the owner of the house claimed them.

Hire a lawyer who can most likely get the case either dismissed or no billed by a grand jury.
