Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My husband was pulled over and they searched his vehicle and tested some eye drops that came back as amphetamines and he was arrested and had to get a lawyer that had eye drops tested again and it was not drugs so my question is does he get back bond money attorney money money FM being out of work.

Unfortunately, no, he does not. The money paid to the bonding company was earned when they bonded him out. They can only makes bonds to a certain approved level (say $10k for the example.) If they had a bond on your husband for $2k, then that is the amount that they cannot make for another person while his case was pending.

And, unfortunately, there is a lot of immunity in trying to sue a governmental employee (including police.) You can talk with a civil rights lawyer but I doubt there will be recovery. Even law enforcement is allowed to make a mistake.
